Spiritual entertainment: Have you fallen in the trap?

For much of human history, spiritual teachings were the privilege of a select few. They seemed distant, difficult to understand, or even forbidden for most people. Only a chosen few underwent extensive training and apprenticeships to approach their teacher’s understanding.

In recent decades, thanks to the internet and the ease of global travel, people can now access information that was once inaccessible. This has rendered the traditional exclusivity obsolete, presenting a significant opportunity for humanity. The emergence of numerous teachers and teachings has propelled humanity forward in exploring the vast information within our universe or beyond.

This is a great opportunity and signifies humanity’s next chapter of expansion!

However, this opportunity comes as a double-edged sword.

The accessibility of spirituality many times has led to its dilution, by being filtered through negative belief systems, altered according to people’s agendas, and even weaponised at times.

While we may not fully understand how ancient civilizations approached spirituality due to historical constraints like the Inquisition and the Medieval Ages, it is clear they applied spirituality in practical ways that made sense to them, given the challenges they faced.

They employed their expansive awareness:

  • To understand the world and people around them
  • To connect with like-minded people
  • To expand their awareness and gain control over their human selves
  • To understand nature, plants, herbs, find medicines, and help their body heal, or heal others
  • And many more
Mental discipline is a key part to actual Transformation

Spirituality needs commitment and mental discipline!

Spirituality can help us when it is grounded in what makes sense.

This means, it is essential to take teachings with a grain of salt and understand that if something is entertaining your curiosity or makes you feel disempowered, it probably doesn’t need further exploration (notice: this is different than feeling uncomfortable which is part of the transformation).

For example, I often receive questions like:

  • “How old is my soul?”
  • “How many times have I been incarnated?”
  • “What does God want me to do?”
  • “Who was I in my previous lifetime?”

These questions often stem from curiosity that seeks entertainment rather than true awareness. Yet, they are entertained by many and pushed by confused spiritual teachers, leading to a never-ending cycle of searching for answers that make no sense.

Consider this: How would knowing the age of your soul change your present life? Wouldn’t it just create more questions?

It is crucial to ground your spiritual experiences and downloads into actionable, 3D perspectives. Otherwise, spirituality can be a confusing mind game to avoid taking responsibility for your life

It is common for people to say things that make no sense but are convinced they are right. They share these convictions with others who may feel less authorized and experienced, thinking they can’t ask for clarity and need to accept things as told.

Your spirituality has to make sense because if it doesn’t:

  • It adds confusion to an already bewildering life
  • It perpetuates negative patterns
  • It supports staying stagnant and may even instill fear

I remember vividly, years ago, one of my clients came to me crying and feeling desperate.

When I asked her what the problem was she told me that a healer had found negative entities affecting her life, preventing her soul mate from entering her path. Distraught and desperate, she believed she was doomed.

Did this spiritual teaching help her?

No, it really didn’t make any sense. It actually contradicted the very foundation of the Universe: Free Will.

We spent an hour explaining that those negative entities are probably her own thought forms and of course she can change them. Hint: if you want something that you don’t have, then there are some thought forms and energetic blockages present. These are not entities and you are not doomed!

So, the next time you are about to believe a spiritual teaching or authority, ask yourself: Does it make sense? Does it offer an opportunity for me to take responsibility for myself and my life?

And if you catch yourself wanting to know something that adds to your need to be entertained or made to feel special, ask yourself how this will change your life.

To your Transformation!
